Yukon Solitaire: learn through an example

Choose a round of Yukon Solitaire and settle into its rules. Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Read the objective before making your first input. Look at what changes after your first action.

One deck, no stock, Yukon deal. Free solo play, no wagering.

A small practice goal

After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again. Use the example to check your reasoning.

Your goal

Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Try to explain the aim in your own words.

From the start of a round

  1. Build down in alternating colours. Any face-up card carries all cards below it, even when unordered. Kings fill empty columns.
  2. Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
  3. Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Input guidance

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.

A closer look at one example

A red 6 carrying an unordered tail can move onto a black 7. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Verify the rule before continuing.

Avoid this misunderstanding

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart.
